Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs, using current best practices and technology.

The role requires current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred or a Bachelor’s with related experience in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required for SLP.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
