Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language rehabilitation services in a hospital setting. You will evaluate, develop, and implement personalized plans to improve patient communication while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires CCC certification and current state licensure, with CPR training either in place or to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Master's degree is preferred or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

• CCC certification and state licensure as an SLP.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
