Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language needs in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

You will develop personalized plans, document progress, and collaborate with caregivers while leveraging the company's supportive culture and technology to help patients regain communication.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or eligible.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
