Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer personalized speech therapy treatments for patients with communication needs. You will assess progress, adjust plans as needed, and document patient responses in a supportive inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC Certification (ASHA)

CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire
