Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs, using evidence-based practices and state-of-the-art tools.

The role requires current licensure, CCC, CPR (within 30 days), and a master’s degree is preferred (or a bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure required by state regulations.
• ASHA CCC Certification required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or BA/BS with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment when needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
