Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy, evaluate patient needs, and develop personalized treatment plans. You will work within a supportive national rehabilitation leader known for growth opportunities and patient‑centered care.

Qualified candidates hold current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification (or must obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Certification of Clinical Competence) required or in process.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree preferred
