Job summary

HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support patients’ communication, cognition, and swallowing recovery through evidence-based care.

You will evaluate, develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, document progress, and educate patients and families, while collaborating with physicians, nursing, rehab staff, and care managers for coordinated, smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using assessments.
• Developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans.
• Documenting evaluations, notes, progress, and discharge summaries.
• Educating patients and families on goals and home strategies.
• Collaborating with physicians, nursing, rehab staff, and care managers.
