Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate comprehensive speech-language needs and conduct evaluations to identify student requirements.
• Communicate findings clearly with parents and district personnel.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to design targeted, evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver speech-language therapy or supervise assistants to implement IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate records and use progress data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and family conferences to support individualized education programs.
