Qualifications

• Licensed or certified in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Comfortable providing both individual and small-group instruction.
• Knowledge of IEPs, accommodations, and specialized instruction.
• Collaborative and communicative with school teams.
• Patient, compassionate, and student-centered.

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually or in small groups based on their specific needs.
• Provide targeted instruction in areas such as reading, writing, math, executive functioning, and social skills.
• Reinforce and build skills that students may be struggling with in the general education classroom.
• Develop and implement instruction aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress-monitoring data.
• Support students in becoming more independent and successful within the general education environment.
