Onward Search Education is partnering with a Middlesex County school to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the in-person role beginning August 31, 2026. The position requires DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities and experience with 3–5-year-olds.

You will develop IEPs, deliver individualized instruction, and collaborate with families and staff to support student success in a compliant, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities (PreK–8 or appropriate early childhood level) is required.
• Experience working with children ages 3–5.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time
• Location: In Person, Middlesex County, MA

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student assessments and needs.
• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with state standards and student learning goals.
• Modify curriculum, assignments, and assessments to support diverse learners.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success.
