Value Specialty Pharmacy/Restore RX near Memphis, TN, seeks a detail-oriented Operations Technician to help ensure prescriptions are processed safely, accurately, and on time. You’ll work with a pharmacist and team to support patients nationwide.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, resolving coverage issues with insurers, organizing shipments, managing inventory, and answering patient questions with clarity and compassion. The role emphasizes compliance and patient care.

Qualifications

Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program with Board Certification.
1–3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (specialty or retail preferred).
Familiarity with NDC codes, insurance formularies, and pharmacy laws/regulations.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, customer service and phone skills, deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

Process prescriptions: verify patient/insurance, label, fill, and obtain pharmacist approval.
Coordinate with insurers and patients to resolve coverage issues and prior authorizations.
Prepare and organize shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Manage pharmaceutical inventory to meet patient demand.
Assist with refill scheduling, counseling policies, and patient questions.
Track shipments and manage calls/emails to keep operations smooth.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
