Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a contract position near Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time role focuses on delivering individualized instruction and developing IEPs for a small caseload of 2–5 students.

You will collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff, maintain detailed records, and communicate regularly with families to monitor progress and address concerns.

Qualifications

• Current Special Education teaching certification.
• Bachelor’s in Special Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in SPED settings and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students on caseload (2-5 students).
• Deliver instruction tailored to each student’s needs and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and concerns.
• Adapt instructional methods and materials for diverse learning styles.
