Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a contract, full-time role near Pittsburgh, PA. You will develop and implement IEPs for a small caseload and work to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.

The position requires current certification, a relevant degree, and collaboration with general education staff, therapists, and families to monitor progress and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Current Special Education teaching certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Previous experience teaching or assisting in a Special Education setting.
• Understanding of IEP processes and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students on caseload (2-5 students).
• Deliver instruction and support tailored to each student’s unique learning needs and abilities.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share student progress and address concerns.
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to accommodate various learning styles.
