Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Special Education or a related field.
• Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Special Education - General Curriculum K-12.
• Strong organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Expertise in development and monitoring of IEPs in compliance with IDEA and Virginia regulations.

Responsabilités

• Plan and provide Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) for students with disabilities in various settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with parents/guardians and staff.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and home-school collaboration.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, psychologists, social workers, and related service providers to support students.
