Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Additional grade level or content area certification may be required.
• Experience with IEPs and ARD processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ARD meetings to determine student placement and IEP development.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state SPED requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and administrators.
• Update and communicate IEP progress to families.
• Plan resources and adapt instruction to student needs.
