Job summary

LEARN Academy is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher for its Yuma, AZ campus. The role involves developing IEPs, providing specially-designed instruction, and collaborating with therapists and administrators to support students with autism and related needs.

Applicants should hold an Arizona SPED credential or be pursuing certification, with a Bachelor's degree required and a Master’s preferred. Relocation assistance is offered along with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Special Education teacher with an active credential or in a certification program.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Autism-specific certificate preferred, with other credentials considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and SDIs.
• Provide instructional activities fostering a positive learning climate.
• Select and adapt instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Assess curricular needs and propose improvement plans.
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBA, and Administrators.
