Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Special Education Certificate per AZ Department of Education requirements.
• Arizona Teaching Licensure is required.

• Experience with IEP writing and meetings.
• Experience working with K-12 students.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Communicate progress with staff and families.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them for administrator approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Foster a safe, productive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with on-site therapists on student issues.
• Invite family members to participate in progress.
