Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite role at a middle school for the 2026-2027 school year. The contract runs August 26, 2026, to June 11, 2027, with Monday–Friday, 7.5 hours daily.

Interviews are scheduled promptly, with virtual options via Zoom and in-person meetings preferred when possible. The role offers compensation ranging from $28.71 to $48.71 per hour, with eligible candidates potentially receiving healthcare benefits, housing, and

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Washington State certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience working with a range of disabilities at the middle school level.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for partnering with colleagues, families, and support staff.
• Flexibility and creativity in adapting curriculum and instruction to accommodate various learning styles.
• Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom climate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with a variety of disabilities.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in small group and inclusive settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals to ensure cohesive support.
• Engage in regular communication with families regarding student growth and needs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings.
