Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate with appropriate Special Education endorsement

• Strong knowledge of current special education laws, practices, and IEP development
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, administrators, and parents
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique requirements
• Deliver evidence-based instruction that accommodates diverse learning styles and abilities
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment conducive to growth and participation
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school and state regulations
• Liaise regularly with parents and caregivers to communicate student progress and instructional plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate student inclusion and achievement
