Job summary

In this role you will monitor progress, communicate with families, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records in compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs that address each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals.
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching methods to support diverse learning styles.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families.
• Work alongside general education teachers and support staff to facilitate student success.
• Manage classroom behavior and apply positive behavioral intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with school and district policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed.
