Job summary

Qualifications

> Requires high school diploma or equivalency; 48 college credits or paraprofessional assessment.
> One year related experience working with children in an educational setting.
> Ability to work collaboratively to support teachers/service providers.
> Ability to assist students with disability limitations including lifting/moving wheelchairs, feeding and bodily functions.
> Effective verbal and written communication skills.
> Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate punctual attendance.
> Proficiency with business software (Video Conferencing, MS Office).

Responsibilities

Implements instructional plans and activities as designated by the teacher.
Demonstrates patience while motivating engagement and monitoring learning behaviors.
Assists in formulating and conducting classroom activities and prepares materials.
Guides students as they transition within the school and community.
Complies with medical protocols and supports health and well‑being as needed.
Supports instructional programming and data collection on student performance.
