Job summary

The Lake Oswego School District is seeking a Temporary Special Education Assistant II (SEA II) for ACCESS at Lakeridge High School. This 7 hours/day, 186 days position supports teachers and administrators by assisting with instructional activities and supervising students with special needs.

Under supervision, you will help implement IEP goals, document progress, assist with health-related plans, and maintain safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED is required. An Associate Degree or two years of study at a community college/university is preferred.
• Language Skills: Fluent English communication, spelling and grammar.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic for data and records.

Responsibilities

• Confers with teachers and staff to plan daily routines and programs.
• Performs instructional support tasks and assists with IEP/504/behavior plans.
• Manages student information and maintains confidentiality.
• Provides supervision in classrooms, hallways, and during activities.
