Job summary

The Ministry of Justice, HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) Digital and Technology Services, is seeking a Software Developer for national operations. You will work with stakeholders across user researchers, product managers, designers and analysts to deliver results that improve public services using modern tech.

You will write, refactor, and document code, ensure security controls, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior colleagues while adopting an iterative, Agile approach.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Java and Node.js.
• Experience with modern software development practices.
• Familiarity with Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Awareness of security, reliability and performance considerations.
