The director will supervise staff, oversee psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, and staff education to address aging and disability needs, aiming to maximize quality of life for patients/residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work.
• Or Bachelor's degree in a human-services related major plus one year in a healthcare setting working as a supervised social worker.
• Experience working directly with individuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Social Services staff.
• Measure outcomes and department productivity.
• Ensure psychosocial assessments for patients/residents.
• Assist discharge planning and goals.
• Educate staff on psychosocial needs and aging/disability.
