Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to partner with a Dakota County, MN school district for the 2026-2027 year. This on-site, full-time role supports SLP supervision and data collection within a collaborative educational team.

You will assist in delivering therapy, work with students individually or in groups, and help organize materials and documentation to support student progress and communication goals.

Qualifications

• Active licensure or certification as an SLPA in Minnesota is required.
• Experience assisting in school speech-language services is preferred.
• Ability to work under close supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Strong organizational skills for managing materials and documentation.
• Excellent communication with educators, students and families.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of speech and language therapy sessions under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist in working with students individually or in groups to meet communication goals.
• Help collect and document data on student progress during therapy.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities and equipment.
• Support students in using AAC devices as directed by the supervising SLP.
