Qualifications

• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Proficiency in Section GG data collection and documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Modality/Vital Stim certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized intervention plans to address communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Ensure accurate Section GG data collection for assessments.
• Administer speech therapy interventions and swallowing therapy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and interventions.
• Educate residents, families, and care staff on safety and exercises.
• Collaborate with rehab staff to provide holistic care.
