Job summary

PruittHealth in Brookhaven, GA is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or CFY to evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing/post-acute setting. You will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
