Job summary

Scoot Education is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist in California to conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students in both general and special education settings.

You will participate in IEP meetings, document student needs, and collaborate with teachers and support staff. Supervision of SLPA staff is possible, with a commitment to a safe, nurturing learning environment and delivering IEP/BIP services as directed.

Qualifications

• Active California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening, evaluation and speech therapy for qualifying students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collect documentation of student needs and progress.
• Work closely with Teachers and support staff across both general education and special education settings.
• Where applicable, supervise SLPAs
• Build rapport and trust with the children in your care
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Support Special Education Teachers in delivering IEP and BIP services
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educators
