Responsibilities

• Evaluate comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ therapy needs.
• Communicate evaluation results clearly with parents and district personnel.
• Develop targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions with ARD committee input.
• Provide therapy services or supervise SLP Assistants implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress with detailed records and data-driven adjustments.
• Support ARD meetings, parent conferences, and related discussions.

Your Role:

Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.

Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.

Monitor Progress:Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.

Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
