Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and schools. The role requires a Master’s degree, Texas licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification, with bilingual skills preferred but not required.

You will evaluate needs, communicate findings, develop interventions with ARD, provide therapy, monitor progress, and support the ARD process to enhance education access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate needs: conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate findings: share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop interventions: collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide therapy: deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support team: participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
