Job summary

Community Teamwork in Lowell, MA is seeking a Nutrition Services Manager to oversee comprehensive food service operations across programs, including seven-day-a-week meal supervision for the Housing and Homeless Services division. Qualifications

• 5+ years of kitchen or food services experience.
• HS degree or equivalent.
• Desire to work with low-income, culturally diverse populations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills for data collection.
• Must pass background check with fingerprinting and provide health/immunity documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee seven-day meal service at Church St. site in compliance with shelter scope.
• Lead menu planning, food production, procurement, inventory, and food safety.
• Monitor shelter budget and ensure costs align with fiscal targets.
• Collaborate with Fiscal team on budgets and expenditures.
• Partner with organizations like Merrimack Valley Food Bank for resources.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and regulatory inspections.
• Provide leadership across divisions to ensure high-quality service.
• Develop department goals, SOPs, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, vendor contracts, and inventory.
• Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate nutrition staff; foster collaboration.
