Job summary

The Salvation Army Birmingham Area Command is seeking a Project SHARE Coordinator. This full-time role pays $18 per hour for a 35-hour work week, handling energy assistance client records, eligibility reviews, and documentation for payments.

You will support agency data integrity, maintain agency listings, and contribute to Advisory Council activities with reports on outcomes and trends. A two-year degree and clerical/social service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree from an accredited technical or vocational school, or equivalent training.
• Experience in clerical or social service work in an office setting.
• Experience assisting the public in a social or public service environment.

Responsibilities

• Administers and maintains client records for energy assistance programs and monitors eligibility.
• Recommends approval of applications outside guidelines on emergency/as-needed basis with documentation.
• Maintains agency listings and records, ensuring data consistency across systems.
• Attends Advisory Council meetings and presents reports on client outcomes and trends.
• Prepares meetings agendas/minutes and assists with program presentations to utility companies.
