The role includes providing physical care, ensuring a clean, safe environment, and aiding students in remote learning settings with technology access and executive functioning strategies.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma is required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments require either two years of college, an associate’s or higher degree, or demonstrated knowledge in reading/language arts, writing, and mathematics.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training provided by the District for autism/behavioral needs.
• Medication administration training provided by the District as needed.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behaviors with licensed staff.
• Prepare materials, assist with tests and attendance, and support during events like fire drills.
• In online/remote settings, support technology access and curriculum reinforcement.
