Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado seeks a Service Coordination Supervisor to oversee advocacy, crisis intervention, support services, and coordination with funding sources for the service coordination program at all assigned properties.

The role requires supervising staff, volunteers, and interns, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and agency policies, and maintaining effective community partnerships. Full-time, on-site position on the Western Slope of Colorado.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• At least one (1) year of experience in Service Coordination, Case Management, or a closely related field.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and proof of state-required automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel locally as required to support assigned sites and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct Supervision of assigned Service Coordinators serving in Colorado.
• Provide technical assistance and consult in appropriate area of social work practices, agency program policies, and fair housing laws and practices for the Service Coordination component.
• Assists Service Coordinators in accessing resources and problem-solving to meet resident needs; ensures team members are receiving appropriate support.
• Oversees service delivery to ensure program requirements and best practices are followed; monitors documentation and progress notes.
• Coordinates with property management and VOAC staff to maintain cooperative working relations.
• Schedules staff to ensure adequate coverage for resident accessibility and timely service delivery.
