Job summary

Wallick Communities’ The Ashford of Beavercreek in Beavercreek, OH is seeking a full-time Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to provide direct resident care at The Ashford of Beavercreek. The role offers $18/hour plus shift differential and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required; Nurse Aide certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with residents, co-workers, families and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and daily personal services.
• Assist residents with hygiene, bathing, and toileting.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident/family needs.
• Encourage resident involvement in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and events.
• Support mobility: lifting, turning, and repositioning as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
