Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting, performing student evaluations and delivering therapy under the plan of care and physician orders.

Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by state/contract. CPR, health certificates, and compliance with applicable standards must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Licensed SLP in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations.
• Provide and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.
• Maintain accurate therapy records and progress notes.
• Collaborate with school staff, physicians and families as needed.
