Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy and conduct student evaluations, documenting services per each student's plan of care and physician orders.

The role requires active state licensure, CCC-SLP preferred, and strict adherence to professional standards, health and safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Candidates must meet age and regulatory prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
