Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois School Social Worker License.
• PEL required.
• Experience in school settings with middle and/or high school students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect social-emotional support to students in middle and high school.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies.
• Assess and address social, behavioral, and emotional needs of students.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions focusing on well-being.
• Mentor and support interns, guiding their professional growth.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed.
• Promote acceptance and understanding throughout the school community.
