Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to support students' mental health in a school-based program. This full-time contract runs through the end of the 2026-2027 school year with weekday hours from 8am to 4pm.

You will address emotional and behavioral needs of students identified as emotionally impaired, collaborate with another staff member, manage a caseload of 15-20, and handle new referrals.

Qualifications

• Current educator certificate and appropriate clinical social work license (required).
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy and counseling to K-12 students.
• Skilled in working with youth from trauma-affected or low-income backgrounds.
• Background in behavioral interventions and behavior management strategies.
• Commitment to student advocacy, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapeutic sessions addressing emotional, behavioral, and social development.
• Offer trauma-informed interventions and foster resilience among students.
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, administration, and families to create and support counseling plans.
• Maintain detailed records, document progress, and manage consistent communication with all stakeholders.
• Participate in the B.E.S.T programs ongoing development and evaluation.
