Qualifications

• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Active LCSW or equivalent licensure (LMSW with supervision may be acceptable).
• Experience in school-based social work or pediatric settings.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis-response skills.
• Knowledge of IEP/504 process and school systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health and behavioral assessments with collaboration from teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Provide individual and group counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, and social-emotional concerns.
• Respond to crises in the school setting, including risk assessments and safety planning.
• Assist with IEPs/504 Plans addressing emotional and behavioral goals.
• Coordinate with families and community services to access resources.
• Develop school-wide SEL initiatives and prevention programs.
• Provide consultation to staff on behavioral strategies and trauma-informed care.
• Maintain confidential, compliant documentation of services and progress.
