• Consult with school personnel to plan for the student's behavior modification.
• Provide screening and assessment in line with state and federal regulations.
• Identify causes of stress and barriers affecting learning and development.
• Provide outreach and liaison between school, home and community; conduct home visits.
• Provide individual and group counseling for special education students.
• Supervise referral of students to outside agencies and act as liaison as appropriate.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
