Job summary

The Douglas County School District seeks a School Social Worker to deliver evidence-based social work services across schools. You will address student and family needs, link families to community resources, and implement RTI interventions at multiple tiers with confidentiality and ethics at the core.

You will work with administrators, teachers, and support staff to promote positive behavioral supports and student success, reporting to the Executive Director of Educational Services Area 3.

Qualifications

• Licensed social work professional with appropriate licensure and certification.
• Experience in school-based mental health and PBIS implementation.
• Ability to coordinate services with families, schools, and community providers.

Responsibilities

• Counsel individuals, groups, and families on mental health and related issues.
• Provide Tier I–III interventions within RTI frameworks.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and community partners to support students.
