Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work full-time with students in a supportive educational environment near Danielson, CT. You will help young learners develop essential communication skills in a contract position designed for professionals passionate about student growth.

Responsibilities include evaluations, therapy plans, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educators and families. The role emphasizes compliance with IEPs and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure as SLP (CCC-SLP or CFY considered).
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans in collaboration with educators and families.
• Regularly monitor progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes to support student achievement.
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds.
• Engage with teachers, staff, and parents to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and school guidelines.
