Job summary

Oak Harbor School District seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluative, habilitative therapy and consultation for students with language, speech or hearing needs in our schools. You will collaborate with teachers, families and staff to develop IEP goals, deliver direct services, and coordinate with related services, with an emphasis on positive, evidence-based approaches.

Qualifications

• Valid ESA certificate with SLP endorsement
• WA SLP license and Medicaid billing license
• Strong language development background
• Ability to evaluate and write IEPs
• Relate positively to students, parents, and staff
• Knowledge of WA and Federal rules and regulations
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Flexibility and positive attitude required
• Personal vehicle is required for transportation to various sites

Responsibilities

• The SLP provides evaluative, habilitative (therapy), and consultation services for students with disabilities in need of language, speech, or hearing therapy.
