Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) invites applications for a School Psychologist to support students and families. This role focuses on counseling, MTSS participation, and IEP development in collaboration with school staff.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology.
• Endorsement as a School Psychologist per state bylaws.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills and communicates effectively and courteously both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to coordinate activities with professional staff, parents, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Providing counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in a multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including participation in inter-disciplinary meetings.
• Participating in initial IEP and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with and coach families and staff, during weekly team meetings and follow-up meetings, to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to federal/state/local procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines and procedural safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services.
