Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed OT or COTA to provide school-based occupational therapy services for K-12 students in a CT district near Bethel. This full-time contract runs ASAP through early December, offering weekly pay and comprehensive insurance options.

You will collaborate with teachers and families, develop therapy plans, and contribute to student progress, ensuring meaningful participation in school activities across grade levels.

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut OT or COTA license required.
• School-based experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse student needs.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in alignment with IEPs.
• Develop and implement therapy plans to support academic participation and functional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
• Participate in professional development as required by the district.
