Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting near Dunellen, NJ. This full-time contract role offers meaningful work with collaboration among teachers and special education staff to help each child reach their fullest potential.

The OT will assess students, develop individualized plans, deliver direct services in school, and participate in team meetings. NJ certification is required, with weekly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey OT certification required.
• Experience in school, healthcare, or home health OT preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with K-12 students across varying abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to support educational and developmental goals.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services within the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure student progress and engagement.
• Complete documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding strategies, modifications, and support for student achievement.
