Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified School Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time contract in Kalispell, MT. The CSN will identify and treat student health conditions, provide wellbeing instruction, and assess students to ensure successful learning outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, school nursing certification, and at least one year of school nursing experience, with CPR as applicable. Pay is $60 per hour with standard merit-based benefits.

Qualifications

Current nursing license for the state in which the nurse practices.
Certification in school nursing required.
One year of school nursing experience required.
Paediatric experience preferred.
CPR certification if applicable.
TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable.
Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Identify and treat health conditions among students in the school setting.
Provide instruction for student wellbeing and disease prevention.
Assess students' physical condition in the school setting and refer to resources as needed to support success.
