Amergis (formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing) is seeking a School Registered Nurse in Lakewood, WA to oversee student health care in a contract full-time role. The RN applies the nursing process, supports student physical, mental and emotional well-being, and coordinates with families, school staff and healthcare providers.

Requirements include a current WA RN license, a preferred Bachelor’s degree, school nurse certification, and CPR. Prior school nursing or pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
• School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract.
• One year of school nursing, public health or pediatric experience, preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities
