Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified School Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time contract in Kalispell, MT. The CSN will identify and treat student health conditions, provide wellbeing instruction, and assess students to ensure successful learning outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, school nursing certification, and at least one year of school nursing experience, with CPR as applicable. Pay is $60 per hour with standard merit-based benefits.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Certification in school nursing required.
• One year of school nursing experience required.
• Paediatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Certified School Nurse (CSN) identifies and treatshealth conditions among students in the school setting. The CSN providesinstruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention. TheCertified School Nurse must assess the student’s physical condition in theschool setting and refer the student to appropriate resources as needed to besuccessful in school.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current nursing license for the state in which the nursepractices
• Certification or Credential in school nursing, required
• One year prior school nursing experience required
• Pediatric experience, preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
